Venus retrograde. Venus Retrograde: Dangers and Opportunities

The planet of romance and tenderness in feelings will go into reverse under the waning Moon in the sign of Leo. Venus retrograde will change the energy of relationships between people from October 5 to November 16, 2018, when love will take on a tinge of nostalgia, and relationships will resemble a suitcase without a handle, when it’s a pity to quit and hard to carry.

What not to do when Venus is retrograde 2018

Mid-autumn will literally “freeze” relationships at the stage they have reached at this point. For anyone who dreams of reciprocity and warmth in a relationship with a partner, it makes sense to remember what not to do when Venus is retrograde 2018:

  • Lend or take money at interest;
  • Agree on the date of the upcoming wedding:
  • Decide on plastic surgery;
  • Have casual relationships with lovers.

During the period from October 5 to November 16, 2018, you should refrain from purchasing real estate, household appliances, and jewelry due to the risk of encountering a scammer. Products purchased during Venus retrograde 2018 tend to get lost, break, and quickly fail. But the jewelry of your grandmother or mother, accidentally discovered in the box, will shine on you with a new bright light! Any antique on retro Venus gains triple value and can bring happiness. Therefore, it makes sense to delve into what was previously considered outdated or out of fashion - there is a high probability that you will rediscover old “new” things.

Venus retrograde in October 2018

The second month of autumn will bring a large number of weddings and divorces, as a change in life status will take on special significance for many people. During the entire retrograde cycle in October, Venus will remain in the sign of Scorpio, and from October 31 to November 16, the mysterious planet will pass its retrograde path in the sign of Libra. The fact that the beginning of Venus's retrograde occurs during the fire element speaks in favor of an increase in the number of actions taken under the influence of momentary impulses. Many will think that by deciding on a wedding, divorce, engagement or conceiving a child, they will be able to change their destiny, but alas, a miracle will not happen and such a decision will only increase problems.

In October, special attention should be paid to those things that originated in the distant past and are now slowing down your movement forward or, on the contrary, are developing too rapidly. As you know, extremes do not lead to good, but only increase the number of divorces and separations. Pay special attention to a date like Thursday, October 11, 2018, when retrograde Venus squares fiery Mars. This day is fraught with sudden quarrels, scandals, and breakups.

Venus retrograde in the natal chart

The planet of love and romance rules the second house (money and values), so along with your personal life you need to pay special attention to the financial sphere, where everything will not go as smoothly as we would like.

Retrograde Venus in the natal chart is manifested by a feeling of self-doubt, a lack of emotional connection with a loved one, and a desire to dominate a partner in order to compensate for one’s shortcomings.

Representatives of the zodiac signs Taurus, Libra and Scorpio are most susceptible to the influence of retrograde Venus, as they are ruled by this planet. A period of strength testing is coming for you, when what was built on shaky ground will be completely destroyed. If earlier it was possible to somehow maintain a bad world, then when Venus is retrograde, expect a manifestation of belligerence and greed from those with whom you did not want to quarrel.

What to do when Venus is retrograde 2018

At this time, amazing meetings with “people from the past” will take place, which will bring into your life a feeling of long-forgotten happiness. The period from October 5 to November 16, 2018 is excellent for harmonizing relations between a previously quarreling couple, when the spark of feelings has not completely died out.

In October, Venus retrograde in Scorpio will help you earn a good amount of money from antiques or thanks to support from elderly relatives. This is a time of seeking help from authoritative patrons, when influential people are happy to help in resolving some difficult issue.

It says that in November 2018, when Venus retrograde moves into the sign of Libra, sales of goods that were not previously popular will progress very well. At this time, you can profitably sell even an item that has gone out of fashion, since the price will include a product that has stood the test of time.

During Venus retrograde 2018, feel free to save money and buy second-hand items at flea markets or from private sellers. The purchased product will be of good quality and will serve you for a long time, while you will need to pay significantly less money for it than for exactly the same thing proudly hanging in a prominent place in an expensive store.

How Venus retrograde 2018 will affect the dollar exchange rate

When the planet that controls the energy of love and money goes into reverse, transformations of established relationships occur, which affects the economy of each family and the country as a whole. In the period from October 5 to November 16, 2018, the dollar exchange rate will be in a fever in the same way as people’s feelings will jump: from love to hatred and back to reconciliation. There will be no stability, the dollar will rise and fall, so the winners will be speculators, as well as those who have learned to benefit from sharp currency fluctuations up and down.

During Venus retrograde, you can make a profit from renting existing real estate, but you should not purchase anything. The situation is exactly the same with the dollar: on the crest of success will be those people who have previously acquired a sufficient supply of currency and can now cleverly play on selling the dollar.

The best time period for traders and speculators for the 2018 Moon Retrograde will be between October 7th and October 9th, when the New Moon in Libra occurs. But it will be most profitable to sell dollars on the waning moon from October 1 to October 9, 2018, as well as from Thursday, October 25, 2018 until the end of the current month.

In contact with

Perfect love and romance comes after a lot of effort. While perfection cannot be found or created all at once, it develops over time.

The retrograde position of Venus speaks of doubts and pressure on oneself in pleasure and love. The power of retrograde brings the search for ideal love and romance. A person with Venus retrograde does not want to enjoy mediocre or compromising relationships or things. Such a life position is fraught with neuroses and can make a person a great talent, or plunge him into inner loneliness. It also often happens that such people spend a lot of time preparing circumstances for pleasure and love, but end up disappointed. Public pleasures and the type of relationship are not considered practical and a person seeks all sorts of frills and pretentiousness.

The positive effect of Venus retrograde is the revelation of sincerity in relationships and the creation of unique objects of creativity, pleasure, and also manifestations of love. Man is, as it were, driven by his ideals, and since the world does not contain such unique manifestations of Venus, he himself takes up creativity.

Causes of Venus retrograde

  • Violence against women, disrespect and use of the female sex, betrayal, betrayal of a partner, abuse of pleasure, promiscuity in creativity.
  • Rough hedonism, vulgarity, debauchery, feminism, dependence on women, promiscuity in sexual life, sexual perversion.
  • The desire to develop love for God, the desire to experience spiritual pleasures.

1.Perfect romance

“Love should be incredibly poignant and unforgettable. It must penetrate into all corners of consciousness and embrace everything.” This is exactly how people with retrograde Venus imagine relationships, which is why in 99% of cases they are disappointed in relationships and put up with what is. Such goals and ideals cause a neurotic state, because a person often experiences encounters between dreams and reality.

Sexual life also experiences disappointments, because a person expects something unimaginable from it and when meeting reality, misunderstandings of the surrounding reality arise. At the moment of retrograde, the planet is overloaded with energy and its excess creates doubts in a person’s consciousness, because it does not see anything similar to his understanding and sensations. This state of consciousness can lead either to genius or to madness and despair.

2. Doubts about partners

Since Venus represents any partnership, its retrograde indicates the search for the perfect partner. There are 2 pitfalls along this path:

1. Coldness towards current partners. If people close to you are not perfect, then why show warmth to them? This is the question people with retrograde Venus ask themselves. The answers may vary depending on the person's piety. Some show coldness, while others find the strength to overcome their idealism and love with all their hearts those people who are close by fate.

2. Loneliness and mistrust. This happens if a person, for one reason or another, cannot agree with the current reality and continues to live in his dreams. In this case, there will never be a soul in this world to whom you can show warmth and romance.

If you have retrograde Venus, I advise you to look for reasons to love your loved ones, and not to be in search of an ideal partner. This is undoubtedly the decision of a strong man.

3.Idealism and stagnation in creativity

These two concepts are inextricably linked because the nature of any energy is flow and work. If a person easily passes creative flows through himself, then the muse comes to him again and again and more and more new ideas are born. But when a person becomes isolated on some idea or thought and does not accept anything that is somehow different from the ideal, he dooms himself to a conscious blockage of the Venus channel.

A person with retrograde planets should learn to easily and naturally pass energies through himself, and also accept everything that comes without resisting. In this case, the power of retrograde will be fully revealed and will bring many fruits to life. It is always worth remembering that behind any masterpiece there are many years of hard work and research.

Strengths and weaknesses of Venus retrograde

Strong Venus retrograde further enhances the flow of creative, romantic energy. If a person opens up and lets it pass through himself, he will achieve incredible heights in art and partnership. And if he closes himself in search of an ideal, he risks losing his sanity and being isolated from society.

Weak Venus retrograde makes the flow of energy less saturated and allows you to move through life more measuredly. This situation is less risky for the psyche, but also produces smaller, if not meager, fruits. Weak Venus makes love mercantile and creativity stereotyped; coupled with retrograde Venus, it gives serious internal worries about one’s own worth as a partner and an attractive person in general. It is not uncommon for such people to suffer from their inability to love and be loved, as well as from the paucity of their pleasures and creative ideas.

Affirmations for Venus Retrograde

  • I appreciate and love the people that Fate sends to me
  • I'm sexy and attractive
  • Life is pure pleasure
  • My work is original and complete
  • I love my wife/husband the way she is
  • I'm always surrounded by pleasure
  • The highest love is the love of God

It happens rarely that it is visible in approximately one in twenty horoscopes. People with the Venus horoscope during the retrograde period are distinguished by special tastes and sensuality. They are in constant search of new life values and interesting relationships. They are characterized by a reluctance to cooperate with other people and create beauty in everything, but there are cases of the opposite - there is a desire to acquire everything beautiful for their own satisfaction.

People with a Venus retrograde horoscope create their own image of beauty, which often has many distinctive characteristics from the generally accepted approach to the sense of beauty. Very often they take an active part in introducing their friends and acquaintances to develop long-term relationships. But due to their biased criteria for assessing beauty, they cannot find a loved one for themselves.

They are lonely and dream of their own personal happiness, but cannot find it, so it is difficult for them to get married. The emotional background is disturbed. We can say that in a previous life these people experienced a lot of love suffering, the memories of which do not give them freedom of action in love. They suspect those around them of many things, and also look for opportunities to make selfish profit.

It is their suspicious attitude towards everything that pushes these people away from creating love relationships and happiness. The retrograde of people with the Venus horoscope leads to difficulties in financial matters and the emergence of new acquisitions. There are moments of direct, non-retrograde movement of the character of a person with the Venus horoscope, when situations arise in front of them to solve the above problems.

You can discuss the pressing problems that have arisen with your significant other. It is favorable for Venus to love themselves during the retrograde period of development. These people tend to give their love and warmth to close people and friends, so they simply need to pay attention to themselves, eliminating the accumulated feelings of irritation and grief. Venus will be completely satisfied if they allow themselves to plunge into their inner world during the retrograde period to create harmony in it.

People with this horoscope work extremely hard, but their financial situation does not improve and there is no wealth in the house. They constantly lack funds to fully meet their needs. Doing multiple jobs or working from home will do nothing to remedy this unfortunate situation.

Problematic situations arise in relationships with a loved one, since people with the Venus horoscope are disliked and constantly strive to deceive. Experts recommend that they not try to show their own initiative in love relationships for their further development.

But to obtain an honorable position in society, they need to work hard.

If in your natal chart the Venus icon is marked with the letter R, then you can congratulate yourself: you are an exception! There are only about 7% of the planet’s population like you: even retrograde Mars is more common in charts. Therefore, if all your life you have felt that you are not like everyone else, then you are absolutely right: “everything is not like other people”, you are designed this way from the very beginning, and it is simply useless for you to try to be like everyone else. Awareness of this fact can help, at a minimum, to stop biting yourself for the fact that you do not fit into the society of “normal” people: you are not an ugly duckling, you are a swan! And this has not only disadvantages, but also advantages.

There are many sources describing the qualities of Venus in the signs of the Zodiac, but usually these descriptions refer specifically to direct Venus, while the interests of as much as 7% of the population are ignored - and it’s time to correct this!

First of all, let's look at the general features of retrograde Venus.

Venus rules two zodiac signs: Taurus and Libra. Accordingly, the main spheres of its influence in our lives are property and money (Taurus), as well as relationships (Libra), and relationships are not only love, but also business.

Venus is our choice, our preferences, it is “I want!” I like too!"; this is the ability to receive pleasure, give and receive love, create and appreciate beauty, beautiful and valuable things, as well as the ability to create one’s own image, to please other people, to maintain with them not only informational relationships according to Mercury, but also spiritual, sensual, based sympathy and love.

A direct planet creates the movement of its energies from the inside out, from the past to the future, while a retrograde planet, on the contrary, directs its energy inward, more oriented towards the past.

In relationships, this means greater isolation, a smaller social circle, a tendency towards introversion, towards some alienation from others: everyone marches in line, and only you step out of step. You may have your own ideas about beauty (everyone wears a mini, and you wear a maxi), your own values (everyone competes in the number of likes, and you don’t even have an account on social networks), your own taste (it’s difficult for you to choose a wardrobe, because you are categorically not satisfied with the assortment in stores).

Such manifestations can give both external inadequacy (you've probably met eccentrics on the streets who dress very strangely - and not all of them are affected by Uranus), as well as unique taste, style, and special creative talent.

When communicating with others, the owner of retrograde Venus may “get out of tune,” because he seems to be dancing to a different tune, different from the one that everyone else hears. This can give a certain clumsiness, a feeling of a bull in a china shop, difficulties in mutual understanding, difficulties in maintaining etiquette and behavior in society (you have to consciously learn what others absorb unconsciously), and the like.

The inability to easily and naturally fit into a group can be especially acutely felt in adolescence, when everyone flocks into flocks of people like themselves, and the owner of retrograde Venus remains on the sidelines of life, which can cause depression - even depression, if there are corresponding indicators in the chart.

In any case, interaction with others always remains a rather serious pain point: you have to consciously pay attention to this all your life in one way or another, learn to find a common language with others, build relationships and maintain them. Very often, owners of retrograde Venus experience great difficulties in relationships: they work out somehow wrong, leaving a feeling of dissatisfaction and often forcing them to either look for new relationships (many marriages) or give up relationships altogether.

The first thing you must realize and accept when you see Venus retrograde in your chart is the understanding that you are really not like everyone else, you basically cannot be like everyone else, so don’t even try! You'll just be wasting your time and energy.

Be yourself, study yourself, turn your rare feature into a talent - or at least into a personal highlight.

In addition, Venus is retrograde for only forty days, so in a maximum of forty years, Venus “within you” will turn into a direct movement - and the severity of the problems may noticeably decrease. The problems will never completely disappear, but you may have more opportunities to build relationships, for example.

To determine when your inner Venus will turn, you need to know what phase of retrograde it is in your chart. Even if you are a complete beginner in astrology, you can do this using the Internet: look up what dates Venus retrograde periods occurred in the year of your birth.

For example, this year the period of Venus retrograde began on October 5, and for about 4 days (until October 9) Venus will already be retrograde, but still stationary (this is our 1st phase); On October 26th (about 20 days after the reversal) Venus will be burned by the Sun (this is the 2nd phase); On November 16th, the period of retrograde movement will end (Venus will turn back to the direct position), and therefore approximately 4 days before that it will be in the 3rd phase.

Each of these three phases has some characteristic features of manifestation.

  1. First station (turn from direct to retrograde)

When a planet moves directly, its energies flow “as expected”: quite freely, pouring out. When the planet stops, it’s like you’ve stepped on an irrigation hose: there’s pressure, but there’s no way out. The pressure inside the hose increases. The hose (that is, you!) is unlikely to like this: after all, it begins to burst from the inside. You may simply be torn by the desire to act according to the function of this planet - but the energy output is blocked! You do not have the opportunity to act, you do not know where to put this energy, and therefore your actions can be very inadequate.

The stationary position of the planet seems to give a very high concentration of its energies: such a planet becomes, in a sense, a “pain point” of the map, constantly drawing attention to its functions, to its spheres of influence.

Specifically in the case of Venus, you may have a strong need for communication, for love, for close relationships, but there may be few opportunities to enter into a relationship, and those relationships that do form may seem unsatisfactory to you, be somehow strange, do not fit into the generally accepted framework and your expectations. You may also find it difficult to get used to a new person - or to get over someone who has left, so a breakup can be a long-lasting experience.

Here the planet is still at the very beginning of its retrograde cycle, so changes for the better will have to wait the longest: up to 35-40 years. Because of this, it is possible that your first marriage will not be very successful, or you will get married quite late - having already “filled your teeth”, that is, having gained some experience in building relationships.

2. Combustion (fastest retrograde motion in conjunction with the Sun)

In retrograde motion, the flow of energy across the planet is already happening - but in the other direction! Imagine that a stream of cars is moving along a large highway - and suddenly one car drives into the oncoming lane and stubbornly rushes across everyone! This is roughly what a person with combust Venus looks like in society: he behaves in a way that is very different from the generally accepted one, but he usually does not realize this. By stubbornly moving against the general trend (for example, not recognizing generally accepted standards of appearance), he either receives ridicule, or... becomes a trendsetter!

In addition, blinded by the Sun, Venus may inadequately evaluate both herself and her partner: either you consider yourself unworthy of love, or you find unsuitable partners who are unworthy of you. Although it may be that you think too much about yourself, you consider it possible to completely ignore generally accepted rules and challenge social norms.

What is most difficult for Burnt Venus is mutual understanding with others, since she is like a driver whose eyes are glaring with sunlight, and he cannot really see the road, risking getting into an accident.

And also for such a Venus (due to its fairly high speed of movement), feelings can switch quite quickly: today I love you, and tomorrow I hate you!

And then it turns out that not only does she not really see the road, she is also inclined to make maneuvers very abruptly, without giving warning signals in advance.

Here, Venus is already in the middle of its retrograde movement, so after twenty years it will be possible to breathe more freely, although the problems will not disappear completely: you will still tend to somewhat inadequately evaluate both yourself and those around you, and this feature of yours is worth remembering.

3. Second station (turn from retrograde movement back to direct)

At this stage, a person is usually already able to realize that he is not like everyone else. No matter what he does, no matter how hard he tries to fit into the generally accepted framework, he fails: society seems to reject him, crowds him out as something alien. Or the person himself, realizing that he is not like everyone else, begins to distance himself, withdraw from communication, especially since it is difficult for him to get used to a new person, and he remembers the breakup for a very long time, and he does not want to experience this pain again.

This can lead to despair, cause a feeling of total loneliness and misunderstanding, or it can become a talent, a source of one’s own original style in art, for example: in order for something new to be born (a new fashion, a new direction, a new genre), it is necessary for someone to stop do what everyone else does, and did it somehow differently!

Venus in the second station is already calmer, more wise in life - or more disappointed in life. If other indicators of the chart tend towards depression, then the feeling of one’s own “rejection”, dissatisfaction with relationships that are never what one would like, can lead to a refusal to build relationships in general - and not only love ones, but also friendly ones.

The owner of such Venus should focus on carefully choosing a partner and close circle and maintaining these relationships: you will have little choice, but the relationship can be very deep.

The second station is the very end of the retrograde cycle: the planet is about to turn into a direct position, which usually happens in childhood, so external problems and limitations on opportunities for creating relationships are minimal compared to other phases, but the peculiarities of your internal structure remain with you for life, so you will still be different from others, and relationships will be, to one degree or another, your pain point, which you will have to constantly work on.

If your retrograde Venus does not fall into one of these pronounced phases, then it moves at an average speed and will also manifest itself averagely, without particularly strong “distortions” in any direction.

Of course, a lot also depends on the aspects of Venus, on its position in the sign and in the house, on the chart as a whole: for example, someone’s attempts to introduce a new fashion trend will be ridiculed, while others will be enthusiastically taken up; Some people can enter into relationships quite easily, while others find it very difficult, and so on.

Each card is unique, each person has his own level of awareness, his own life experience and life circumstances, so we can only briefly consider the general features of the behavior of retrograde Venus in the signs of the Zodiac - and how applicable this is to you, that’s up to you to judge (well, or ask for specific advice and analysis of your chart to a professional astrologer).

ARIES

Direct Venus in Aries is a kind of Amazon, a warrior who strives to win the attention of the opposite sex and is ready to be the first to take a step towards. In a relationship, she needs brightness, passion, excitement, war, quick sex, and stability, routine and pink snot drive her into depression, so she tends to change partners quite often: as soon as the fire of her passion has burned out. For such a Venus, “love = passion”, “I want you = I love you”: and as soon as I no longer want, I no longer love.

Retrograde redirects these energies inward, so a person may seem outwardly more restrained, but inside the volcano of feelings can boil even more - and sometimes explode enchantingly when feelings long locked inside finally find a way out. Such a Venus can severely burn you with a single flash of passion - or burn itself to the ground.

Retrograde Venus may be especially prone to this in the first station, when the energy is locked up and there are still no skills to manage it.

Having limited opportunities to express herself, such a Venus can manifest itself very powerfully in the few relationships that are available to her - and not every partner is able to withstand such pressure of unbridled passions.

Burnt Venus in Aries can be especially inadequate in assessing oneself and others, because in Aries the Sun is in exaltation, and Venus itself is in exile. A person may not be able to evaluate himself objectively, to see his reflection in the mirror, and therefore his appearance may seem very strange to others - and his behavior too, because Venus is responsible for our ability to behave in society in accordance with accepted rules.

Venus in the second station in Aries may be the “quieter” of the Venus in Aries, the least prone to bright external manifestations and the active pursuit of relationships. She is able to at least somehow control her fiery impulsiveness - especially if she is aware of her characteristics and actively works on herself.

Yuri Galtsev has a retrograde combusted Venus in Aries, and the partile trine of this conjunction to Uranus in exile in Leo certainly makes a significant contribution to the talent of this actor: he is not afraid to be funny, look different from others, and behave differently than others. it's supposed to.

CALF

Here Venus is in residence and is very strong. Direct Venus will be very sensual, very interested in all material goods, in material abundance. Her ideal is “a house is a full cup”, and preferably her own house, and with a plot, and in the house there is also a husband-owner or wife-housewife, children, cattle, full bins and other simple, purely everyday happiness. For her, “love = material wealth.”

Retrograde Venus turns out to be limited in the fulfillment of all these “wants”; it may always seem to her that everything is not as good as it could be: the neighbor has a better house, and the cow gives more milk.

In addition, the practical spirit and intelligence usually inherent in Venus in Taurus can let down retrograde Venus, which is more introverted and less oriented in the outside world, so it can make mistakes, making the wrong choices in purchases or in doing business.

Venus in the first station may experience a particularly large gap between “I want” and “I receive”, and therefore especially great dissatisfaction with oneself and one’s financial situation - regardless of one’s real condition: objectively, a person may be sufficiently wealthy, but subjectively, he will appear to be poor. There may be an increased tendency to hoard, an obsession with purely material issues and benefits: a stationary planet always creates a special emphasis on its functions, on the areas of life for which it is responsible.

Burnt Venus in Taurus understands the true value of things the worst of all, because she has her own, peculiar taste, so the general tendency of Venus in Taurus to buy and collect beautiful things can fail, leading to the purchase of tasteless things, the inability to distinguish a genuine thing from a fake.

On the other hand, Venus is strong in its abode, so combustion does not have such a destructive effect on it as it does on Venus in Aries, which is already in a very unpleasant position for itself, playing a completely uncharacteristic role.

Venus in the second station has the best chance of turning its peculiarity into talent: for example, using an innate penchant for needlework, you can make very original things - if you put some effort into finding your niche in the market.

Charlie Chaplin had Venus retrograde in Taurus shortly after the 1st station, who gained fame by completely changing the approach to the then accepted standards of comedy films. As a result, he became one of the highest paid actors in Hollywood at that time.

In addition, Charlie Chaplin was married several times and also preferred younger women - as did Adolf Hitler, who was born just 4 days later and had almost the same Venus retrograde in Taurus, only in a more exact square to Saturn in Leo.

Bella Akhmadulina also had a retrograde Venus in Taurus (halfway from the first station to the combustion), which was part of a stellium with Mercury and Uranus: she had four marriages, which is usually uncharacteristic for Venus in Taurus (the earth sign is fixed, relationships begin and end with difficulty ), but here Uranus in its fall probably also manifested itself in this way.

TWINS

Direct Venus in Gemini easily makes contact, easily changes her preferences, loves parties and often cannot choose one thing (or someone), torn between different options.

Retrograde Venus is more withdrawn and selective in communication. She is also attracted to smart, well-read people, but she may doubt that her own level corresponds to the level of such a communication environment - or, on the contrary, consider herself misunderstood, because I am the only one here who is so smart, and you all have not yet grown up to me: It's boring talking to you!

For such a Venus, it is the intellectual qualities of a partner that can be the most important factor in a relationship: so important that it can overshadow everything else, which is why the relationship becomes more of a Mercurian type, losing the warmth and emotional involvement characteristic of Venus.

Burnt Venus may be the most inadequate in such assessments, because she sees herself worst of all from the outside.

Venus in the first station may be most interested in contacts with people, but it is unlikely that she will be satisfied with the quality of these contacts: she thought he was smart, but he turned out to be a fool! Okay, let's find someone smarter.

Venus in the second station may be more inclined than others to blame herself for problems with relationships: I’m somehow not like everyone else; It’s probably me who is stupid, why should I care about such smart people! I’ll sit quietly on the sidelines and listen.

Or vice versa: I’m the smartest, I’m bored talking to you fools!

On the other hand, Venus in the monastery of Mercury is a special gift for handling words, the ability to express one’s thoughts beautifully, and if Venus is retrograde, then it is also originality, one’s own style, which can be an excellent gift for a poet, writer, journalist, playwright , actor and so on.

Dan Brown, the author of the acclaimed bestseller “The Da Vinci Code,” has retrograde Venus in Gemini: his wife is 12 years older (quite an unusual choice of a wife!) and, according to him, actively helps him in his literary work (and, according to rumors, even herself writes everything instead of him).

Direct Venus in Cancer is “love = care + fidelity”; common intellectual interests, material wealth and crazy passion are not so important for her. This is the ideal of a housewife who stands “behind her husband”, providing comfort and warmth at home, while her husband “guards the perimeter”, creating a safe shell for Cancer.

This Venus is very sensitive to the state and mood of her partner: do not try to lie to her, because you haven’t even had time to open your mouth, but she has already understood everything from your eyes! True, sometimes in a very different way...

The retrograde of such Venus further increases the likelihood of “she came up with it herself, she was offended by herself,” since the flow is directed inward, and here it is very easy to mistake some of your own sensations for signals from your partner - and draw conclusions that have no basis. And then be offended for the rest of your life and not trust anyone anymore, because someone once deceived you. Or so you thought.

Venus in Cancer usually expresses its feelings quite easily and directly, but retrograde seems to put a barrier in the way of this flow, making a person more secretive and reserved. This can be especially sensitive for Venus in the first station,

who is not yet accustomed to this closed damper and can frantically beat against it - inadequately showing her feelings from the point of view of others.

Burnt Venus in Cancer is most blinded, least of all able to distinguish a signal actually received from a partner on a subconscious level from something that has entered her own head.

Venus in the second station may be the most distrustful of new contacts; it is difficult for her to crawl out of her shell, because she already understands that everyone around her is somehow different, that she is a stranger in this world, and is already afraid of getting hurt on these thorns.

The advantage of Venus retrograde in Cancer can be a very deep connection with a partner: if you still find your person, then with a high probability this is love to the grave, from the category of “and they lived happily ever after and died on the same day.”

However, first you will need to muster up the courage to finally find a partner, and also show prudence in order to learn not to invent something for yourself, but to really hear and understand your partner.

Antoine de Saint-Exupéry had retrograde Venus in Cancer and without major aspects: he had a strange and very stormy marriage with Consuela Carrillo (direct Venus in Aries), in which both had affairs on the side.

Here Venus is visiting the royal Sun - and also tries on the royal crown. Direct Venus in Leo needs adoration, loves to express herself, can give very bright and noble courtship, is generous in manifestations of her love, tends to play the role of a generous patron (and generally tends to play a role!). An excellent position of Venus for actors and other public figures.

When Venus goes retrograde in Leo, the desire for theatricality and adoration can become too intrusive, and expressions of generosity can become excessive and inappropriate. In relationships, people subconsciously try to maintain some balance between what they receive from the other and what they give to him: otherwise, the relationship becomes unequal, which can lead to instability, or be an indicator of the dependence of one partner on the other.

It is very difficult for Venus Retrograde in Leo to adequately evaluate the contribution to the relationship - both from the partner and from one’s own. This can be especially difficult for burned Venus, which already “sees poorly.” Wanting to conquer another person, she can show unheard-of generosity - or she can expect especially bright and generous courtship.

Venus in the first station may be especially dissatisfied with the lack of recognition from others: after all, she really wants recognition, but the circumstances do not work out, the dancer is always hindered by gender. And the more stubbornly such a Venus strives for the big stage, for world fame, the stronger the disappointment may be in the end.

Venus in the second station most likely realizes quite early that her efforts to show herself do not receive a worthy assessment from the public, and may generally become disillusioned with public speaking and give up her creative hobbies: if no one needs it, then there is no incentive to do it.

Such a Venus should not try to express herself within the generally accepted framework: rather, she should look for some zest in herself that will be your distinctive feature - will become your feature, as they say, the basis of your own creative style.

Amy Winehouse had Venus retrograde in Leo in her second station: her manner of dressing and overall appearance clearly distinguished her. Fortunately, she received early support in her creative hobbies and willingly continued to study music - she found her own zest, her own unique style.

In addition, she had Venus conjunct Mars - which is perfectly illustrated by her own statement: “Sex is just sex. But you shouldn’t let anyone get too close to you.”

The combination of both sex planets, and even in the sign of Fire, means increased sexuality, but the retrograde of Venus does not allow a person to include feelings in this relationship, so for him making love and loving are two different things.

VIRGO

Venus in Virgo is in a difficult position for itself: if Venus in Leo can be overly generous in its manifestations, then Venus in Virgo, on the contrary, can be overly practical in relationships - I am only interested in those people who can be useful to me in some way .

For her, as for Venus in Cancer, “love = care,” but for Venus in Cancer emotional care is important, and here it is material: why did you bring me this broom, it will wither in two days, it would be better if you fixed the faucet in the kitchen!

If in the opposite sign of Pisces Venus willingly agrees to “paradise with a sweetheart and in a hut,” then here marriage proposals will undergo a harsh competitive selection, and the hut has no chance in it.

Retrograde Venus in Virgo is even more restrained and rational in its feelings than direct Venus (although much more restrained and reasonable!). In fact, the very concept of “feeling” seems stupid to her - how can you lose your head over some kind of love?! Get busy and stop fooling around! The torment of unrequited love is unfamiliar to her, the charm of poetic descriptions of love intoxication is incomprehensible to her.

Marriage is a mutually beneficial agreement, and Venus in Virgo will very carefully monitor the implementation of all its points. For retrograde Venus, this can become such an important point that choosing a partner (already difficult for Venus in Virgo) turns into an insoluble task: it is easier to remain alone than to find someone who will meet all the requirements.

If everything in my house is neatly laid out on shelves, sorted by color, size and expiration date, then why do I need someone who will throw dirty socks anywhere? The benefit received from having this someone next to me should, at a minimum, outweigh my expenditure of effort and time on him!

However, two Venuses in Virgo have a good chance of coming to an agreement with each other - on mutually beneficial terms, of course: in the end, it is more profitable to pay for one apartment than for two, and having a cooked dinner every evening in exchange for all the men’s housework is also very convenient.

And, strictly speaking, there is nothing wrong with this, although Venus in other signs may find this behavior very strange, but the fact of the matter is that there is no one universal recipe for happiness for everyone: it is much wiser to realize your own characteristics - and live in in accordance with them.

If Venus in Virgo (especially retrograde) in a relationship is primarily interested in its own benefit, then the relationship needs to be built accordingly - and partners must also be selected accordingly, who share your approach to relationships.

Sergei Yesenin had retrograde Venus in Virgo almost in the 2nd station phase, but she had a very exact square to Neptune in Gemini and a sextile to Uranus in Scorpio, so Yesenin was very amorous, but the relationship was never long-lasting or stable.

SCALES

Venus in Libra is again in its abode, but, unlike Taurus, here the focus of its attention is not on material aspects, but on relationships with other people: it is important that there is peace and friendship (we can do without chewing gum, because chewing in decent society indecent!).

Direct Venus in Libra is a true diplomat who will try to take into account the interests of all parties, in any situation to find some kind of compromise acceptable to everyone (or at least not to say unequivocally “no!”).

But retrograde Venus may be inclined to pull the blanket over itself, because the flow of its energies is directed inward, towards itself, and it is more difficult for it to be objective and understand the true needs and interests of others.

Objectivity may be most difficult for combusted Venus, although, due to the weakness of the Sun in the sign of Libra, combustion is not such a serious problem for Venus as in the opposite sign of Aries.

The problem may rather be the presence of Venus in the first station, where stationarity can turn the natural need of Venus in Libra in a partner into a real fixed idea. If in Aries Venus did not take into account the interests of her partner, being guided only by her own desires, then in Libra she may be too inclined to completely adapt to her partner - just to keep him close to her!

In the second station, Venus may be least dependent on relationships, because retrograde forced her to look at herself and (ideally) stop looking for support outside: the gift of retrograde Venus in Libra is the realization that our partner is a reflection of ourselves, that How we ourselves behave in relationships is how we attract such partners to us.

In addition, direct Venus in Libra is usually very dependent on the opinions of others, while retrograde allows you to at least partially get rid of this dependence, better hear your inner voice, make your own choice - even if not everyone around you likes it or goes against traditions.

The famous adventure book author Louis Boussenard (born October 4, 1847) had a combust retrograde Venus in Libra. He was married twice, which for those times was more the exception than the rule: he first married at the age of 34, but soon the couple quarreled and separated, and two years later he entered into, as they now say, a civil marriage with a twenty-year-old girl who was younger him for 16 years. This marriage was legalized only after an official divorce from his first wife - 26 years later. A year later, his second wife suddenly died, and a few months later Louis Bussenard himself died.

In the 20th century, Venus was not retrograde in Libra: the first children with such Venus were born in the first half of November 2010, and before that such people were born in the late 18th and first half of the 19th centuries.

SCORPION

And again, a difficult situation for Venus, because Scorpio is opposite her abode to Taurus: for both of these signs the concept of “mine!” is very important, but if material possessions are important to Taurus (if you want a divorce, then leave me all the property and go

on all four sides), then Scorpio craves rather submission, possession, power over the object of his passion, and the other person here is perceived more as an object, and not as a subject with equal rights and having his own desires and interests.

Venus in Scorpio can be jealous to the point of insanity: “strangle in the arms” and “did you pray for the night, Desdemona?” – this is just about her. She is simply not able to live in peace: if everything is smooth and smooth in a relationship, then she herself will add pepper to it and splash some gasoline - and so that it doesn’t get boring!

Retrograde rather further enhances this fixation on emotions, the inadequacy of the perception of the partner (due to excessive suspicion) and the desire to completely control him.

Venus can be especially unbridled in the first station: Scorpio is already inclined at first to keep everything to himself, to digest his thoughts and emotions for a long time, to cling to something for a long time, and the features of the first station further strengthen these inclinations.

In addition, retrograde can seem to reduce the deep insight and intuitive understanding usually characteristic of Scorpio, where it is much more painful to bite, because the flow of energy goes inward: as in Cancer, here it becomes difficult to distinguish real signals of intuition from one’s own “glitches” - which rather increases even more possible inadequacy of actions.

Burnt Venus in Scorpio is generally pure emotions: connecting with the Sun, any planet becomes, as it were, a part of our Self, therefore emotions regarding a partner enter the very core of a person’s personality, it is impossible to step back from this and look at the relationship (your attitude towards another and the attitude another to oneself) at least somewhat rationally and objectively. And then dramas in relationships become very personal dramas, which in the sign of Scorpio can be fraught with quite serious consequences - from deep depression to suicidal tendencies.

On the other hand, such a Venus is ready to go into the darkest depths of the psyche and will not turn away from the most terrible sight, so it can allow you to dive very deeply into the study of your own Shadow: it will lead you to the dragon’s cave, where the brave can find many treasures.

Demi Moore has a retrograde burned Venus in Scorpio: she got married for the first time at the age of 17 to escape from her parents’ family, managed to be in three marriages, and after the collapse of the third she fell into a deep depression - any Venus in Scorpio is very affectionate, very painful and worries for a long time gap, and retrograde can further strengthen this tendency.

SAGITTARIUS

Here, the Lesser Benefic Venus finds itself in the abode of the Greater Benefic Jupiter, so it is not surprising that such people are usually optimists, accustomed to luck. They love to live deliciously, widely and beautifully, but the retrograde of Venus can slightly dampen this taste for life, making a person less open to communication and more self-absorbed.

Venus in the first station may have no less ambitions than direct Venus in Sagittarius, but with the possibilities for realizing these ambitions, things are worse: perhaps, instead of a trip to Bali, you will have to be content with a vacation in the country. Such a constant discord between expectations and reality can cause great displeasure, turning an optimist into an irritated grumbler (or even an envious person).

Jupiter and Venus are also responsible for our values, for the ability to integrate harmoniously into society, behave in accordance with generally accepted rules, win the respect of others, and so on. Retrograde Venus goes against the grain and therefore is not able to integrate harmoniously into the social hierarchy, although she may have more than enough confidence in her own value to others.

Especially combust Venus may suffer from a feeling of unrecognized authority, from (as it seems to her) a lack of respect from others.

Venus in the second station can recognize the difference between its own values and generally accepted ones - and either begin to preach its values, or stop trying to integrate harmoniously into society, behave according to generally accepted rules, win the respect of others, and so on.

In relationships, Venus retrograde in Sagittarius may strive to communicate with respected people - but in some narrow circles, because her understanding of what a person should be respected for may differ greatly from the general one. And here the saying “it’s better to be a big fish in a small pond than a small fish in a big one” may be true.

Ideally, Venus retrograde in Sagittarius can give its owner an original look at generally accepted norms and values - as well as a desire to preach these values, which can also lead to literary studies.

This is exactly what happened with Winston Churchill, who is known mainly as a politician, although he also published several books - mostly historical, which is quite in the spirit of Jupiter, which in this case is in Libra, that is, sextile to Venus, as well as in mutual reception with her: it is not surprising that Churchill painted more than 500 paintings and became an Honorary Member of the Royal Academy of Arts. Moreover, in 1953, Churchill received the Nobel Prize in Literature: “for his mastery of historical and biographical accounts, and for his brilliant speeches in defense of the highest humanistic values” (note the “highest humanistic values”! “Values” is also a word Venus, and “higher and humanistic” is, of course, Jupiter).

Charles de Gaulle also had Venus retrograde in Sagittarius - and square Saturn in Virgo. Interestingly, he also wrote memoirs about the war, although he did not become a Nobel laureate. Like Churchill, de Gaulle received a military education and then gained worldwide fame as a politician and head of state. Another similarity between them is that both were married only once and are said to be very attached to their wives.

CAPRICORN

Direct Venus in Capricorn is the ability to keep a face in any circumstances: a volcano of passions may rage inside, but outwardly it will look like an iceberg - an excellent quality for a scout!

By the way, Vyacheslav Tikhonov has Venus in Capricorn: remember the scene of Stirlitz’s “date” with his wife in a cafe? This is a clear example of Venus in Capricorn. Flint, as they say.

Venus retrograde in Capricorn is able to hide her feelings even deeper - but this does not mean that there are no feelings there at all! They just manifest themselves very deeply and outward, usually through the filter of reason: such a Venus is, first of all, practical in her feelings, rational. In a relationship, trust and reliability of a partner are important: she, as it were, builds a fortress wall around herself - and is at least somehow able to open up emotionally only with those whom she lets inside her fortress.

In the second station, this focus on trust and reliability can be especially strong: a person doesn’t allow anyone close to him, he can turn away from relationships himself, because he feels calmer and more comfortable alone with himself. Here he understands that he is “somehow different” and he himself gives up trying to become “like that.”

At the very first stand, a person may be more inclined to blame others, that they are “somehow different”, are not able to understand him, and therefore he cannot communicate with them.

In both cases, there is a fairly high probability that a person will prefer to be a loner: there is not only no personal life, but also no friendships, because for friendship, manifestations of feelings, the presence of a two-way flow of energy are also important, and with such a retrograde Venus this flow is inhibited or even blocked. The feeling of “no one understands me anyway” can suppress any desire to start a relationship.

And this feeling, of course, is not groundless: such a person is really different from others (although, if you wish, you can still find a common language with them).

Burnt retrograde Venus in Capricorn can show the maximum emotionality possible for such a Venus, because the ice of Saturn is partially melted by the heat of the Sun.

In any case, Venus in Capricorn (both direct and retrograde) can be very prudent in choosing a marriage partner: she can marry a rich and high-ranking person only because it will be beneficial for her.

Tatyana Golikova has retrograde Venus in Capricorn: her first marriage was short, due to her youth (possibly at the square of Uranus), and the second time she married at the age of 37, and not for anyone, but for the Deputy Chairman of the Government. She has no children, her whole life is devoted to her career. However, direct Venus in Capricorn is quite capable of this, and retrograde in this case can be clearly manifested in the fact that Tatyana Alekseevna is often criticized for choosing outfits that are inappropriate for the occasion, which direct Venus in Capricorn would never allow herself.

AQUARIUS

Direct Venus in Aquarius is “freedom, equality, friendship” in relationships. Marriage may seem to her too limiting her freedom, and friendship may imperceptibly develop into love: “we are old friends, and also lovers” - this is love from the point of view of such Venus. And even if we stopped sleeping together, that’s not a reason to stop being friends!

On the other hand, like any fixed sign, Aquarius is generally not inclined to constantly change partners and can be very faithful, although the influence of the sign ruler Uranus on any planet in its abode can be sudden and unpredictable.

Retrograde Venus in Aquarius in the first station can be even more freedom-loving than direct, because Uranian energies are especially concentrated here: any suspicion of an attempt to limit her freedom can cause a surge of indignation and a break in relations.

Combust Venus retrograde can be especially extravagant in its expressions of friendship and love, confusing one with the other and not understanding why others might judge such behavior. For Air Venus, it is generally typical to strive for spiritual closeness, for common interests, therefore they are especially prone to platonic loves, and the sexual side of relationships is less significant for them - that is why they often just have friends of the opposite sex.

Venus in Aquarius sincerely believes that you can (and should!) be friends with anyone: the concept of flirting may be completely incomprehensible to her, so she may take your advances as friendly interest and nothing more.

If your partner has an Airy Venus (especially in Aquarius), then the first sign of possible problems in your relationship (including betrayal) may be the appearance of a friend of the opposite sex, in whom your partner shows increased intellectual interest: frequent friendly conversations on philosophical and other topics can suddenly bring

to bed, for such a Venus loves not so much with her heart as with her brain! Therefore, if you want to start or maintain a relationship, you will have to constantly maintain her intellectual interest in you.

Retrograde Venus in the second station can be either consciously restrained in relationships and closed (I don’t need anyone, I’m an unrecognized genius!), or shocking (yes, I’m not like everyone else, and I’m proud of it!).

Venus in Aquarius also loves originality and unusualness, and in the retrograde version this can turn her tastes from the newest to the old, traditional, historical, because the energy of the planet in this case goes not to the future, but to the past, and in the sign of Aquarius this difference can be especially visual and symbolic, because Aquarius has two rulers: Uranus (pioneer, reformer and lover of innovation) and Saturn (keeper of traditions, lover of antiquity).

Retrograde Venus in Aquarius gets the opportunity to combine innovation according to Uranus and tradition according to Saturn in some original way, to make it its own highlight.

Lev Leshchenko has a combusted retrograde Venus in Aquarius (by the way, he also has retrograde Mercury, also in Aquarius). Perhaps this is what gives him his unfading popularity for many years, his youthful appearance and repertoire, which is still based on military-patriotic songs on the themes of the Great Patriotic War - despite all the socio-political and other changes in the life of the country and capricious fashion trends.

FISH

In Pisces, Venus is exalted and is able to show her best qualities of tenderness and warmth. This is also an excellent position for creative talents, and even healing or psychic inclinations.

On the other hand, such Venus can confuse love with mercy, pity and compassion - even self-sacrifice. This can lead to a tendency not only to pick up abandoned kittens and puppies, but also to live with an alcoholic - in the hope of saving him. And she may also be able to cheat on her partner quite easily - for example, if compassion flares up in her heart for the unfortunate stranger with whom fate has just brought her together.

Venus retrograde in the first station can be especially overflowing with compassion - and limited in the possibilities of its expression. Or her pity turns not so much outward as inward: she feels sorry for everyone, but most of all she feels sorry for herself. The feelings of a black crow and an ugly duckling can be very strong, because such a Venus is extremely sensitive to all shades of emotions and non-verbal manifestations. The feeling of being misunderstood and rejected can make you want to go into your own illusory world - and it’s good if it’s creativity, not alcohol or drug intoxication.

Burnt Venus may be the most blinded, the least adequate in the perception of the environment, the most deeply immersed in her own illusory world of pink ponies and unicorns. Can choose completely inadequate partners, driven simply by pity and the desire to make them happy.

In the second station, a fairly conscious understanding of her difference from others can further strengthen her sacrificial inclinations: this world is so imperfect, but someone has to fix it?

Venus retrograde in Pisces can bring great interest and ability in psychology as well as poetry. Combust retrograde Venus in Pisces (as well as combust Mercury in

Rybakh) was visited by the legendary Kazakh akyn Dzhambul Dzhabayev: he was born in 1846 and lived for almost a hundred years - he even managed to see the end of the Great Patriotic War.

In the 20th century, Venus was not retrograde in the sign of Pisces: the first generation with such Venus was born in April 2009, and before that such people were born in the first half of the 19th century.

Oksana Vasilenko, 1st year graduate of Axis Mundi University, fall 2017 intake.

Venus retrograde is about individuality.
A person with retrograde Venus is noticeably different from a person with direct Venus. There is a tendency here to create grievances and wounds inside, working them out internally, which a directly moving Venus would try to work off externally. Often, Venus retrograde not only creates these hurts and wounds, but also tends to exaggerate their effect. Excessive emphasis is placed on the shortcomings of love in an individual's life. For such a person, the path of love does not flow smoothly.
Overly shy, he usually doubts whether people pay attention to him. Not always sure of his likes and dislikes, he experiences a discrepancy between his life and its awareness. He may be deeply in love and not realize it until years after the relationship ends. He experiences many similar patterns of behavior designed to keep him from the reality of what he thinks he really needs.
There is always a difficulty with the opposite sex, since the individual tends to subconsciously pre-program his future relationships so that they fit into the patterns of his past.
This position corresponds to great uncertainty, since the individual constantly tries to be equal to the people with whom his path intersects. But in doing this, he half-consciously continues to alienate others from himself, so that no one will truly know him deeply enough to threaten the little security and reliability on which he has based his identity. In this position, the individual blocks himself from happiness by trying too hard to achieve it.

Venus retrograde is karma.
When Venus is retrograde, the individual carries with him a misunderstanding of love in a past life. The mental pain was so intense that he is now cutting himself off from fully experiencing the richness of love because he is afraid of being hurt again. Whether it is a man or a woman, in the current life there is great difficulty in relationships with the opposite sex.
Trying to live in the present, he endlessly creates anew the past memory of love in a previous incarnation, which continues to elude him. He reacts to the present as if he were actually living in his past. In this sense, he is fixed at a point in time, and no matter what he does, there is unlikely to be the advancement that he says he wants.
In men's charts this sometimes indicates karma associated with homosexuality. But even homosexuality has its levels, ranging from the open man who tries to politically advertise homosexuality to the world, to the man who will not tolerate even the word in his presence, who is married but looks for any opportunity to avoid women while proving his masculinity. For the latter type of man, life revolves around male friends. Under the pretext of visiting clubs, associations, etc. he avoids the company of women. He may function respectably in society, but he is still a latent homosexual. Less often we find similar reactions in women with Venus retrograde.
The most prominent karmic pattern is that the individual, whether male or female, has a strong tendency to distrust most offers of love, feeling that those who make these offers usually have ulterior motives.

Venus retrograde in Aries.
A person with this placement may become defensive when he feels that others are putting him in a difficult position. Therefore, he tends to spend a lot of time alone.
He is very sensitive to other people's concepts of himself, and if someone's negative self-image might affect him, he quickly runs away in the other direction.
One of his difficulties is his tendency to jump to conclusions about his feelings. He imagines his perceptions in advance, and instead of going with the flow, he formulates his attitude towards certain situations before he experiences them. However, he looks for these situations to check whether his formulations were accurate.
Marriage is not an easy task for this individual, as a general lack of trust coupled with too much self-involvement prevents him from accepting the full wealth of another individual. The boredom he usually feels is not boredom from life or from another person, but rather from intense boredom from himself. Instead of facing this and understanding it, he often makes great efforts to fill his life with entertainment until he is ultimately convinced that he has nothing to do with his problem. The day he learns to love himself, his whole life will change.
He works towards overcoming past karma in which he has established a disconnect between his own feelings and the collective feelings of others. It is the residue of this subtle alienation from people that causes him to run away from himself until he realizes that the entire construction of his positions in relation to himself and others exists only in his mind. Phase I keeps him in karma, but phases II and III show him the way home.

Venus retrograde in Taurus.
In some cases, this individual is karmically tied to a love in a past life that was never fully realized. As a result, the quantity or quality of love in this life never really seems sufficient to fill the empty space left by such past relationships. He is accustomed to a feeling of absolute reliability and will not rest on love in this life, which offers him less.
In his younger years he appears to be shy, and in his older years he withdraws into himself, silently begging other people to get him out of it. He wants someone to reach out to him, but he doesn't want to admit it. He tries to quietly attract others to himself, but at the same time he is afraid of them. His biggest problem is that he tries to crystallize certain feelings early in his life and, as the years and circumstances of experience fly by, he desperately tries to apply past feelings to each new situation. When this doesn't work, he begins to subconsciously believe that at least part of the world is passing him by.
His expectations of relationships with the opposite sex are unusually unrealistic due to the powerful self-deception that he has held onto for many years. If any individual can silently pick up chip after chip until he is actually carrying an invisible tree, then it is a person with Venus retrograde in Taurus.

Venus retrograde in Gemini.
Here the individual spends a lot of time trying to find out what other people think about him. He often changes his likes and dislikes to align himself with whoever he is with because he needs feedback to understand the parts of himself that he believes he likes. As a result, his life becomes more oriented toward acceptance and approval than toward purpose.
Due to the mutable qualities of Gemini, this retrograde planet can function during all three phases, but Venus here never fully acquires the personal wealth it is trying to establish. Instead, everything happens on mental levels, and a person's love is ultimately based on ideas and concepts rather than personal feelings. Because of love's ability to constantly re-identify itself according to other people's evaluations, this individual will be less affected by himself than most other people. He tends to focus most of his life on other people's ideas, which he understands least. As a result, his relationships will cause him confusion.
Having difficulties with the opposite sex, he looks for reasons within himself to explain the discomfort he feels in their company. The problem is that his mental part (Gemini) has dual masculine qualities, while his feeling part (Venus retrograde) is naturally feminine. Mixing the two creates a cross vibration that leads to insecurity when faced with sexual situations. All human creatures are part male and part female, but the fickle qualities of Gemini, with the influence of the retrograde effect during the formative childhood years, make it difficult for an individual to establish a core sexual identity in which he can firmly believe. However, as he gets older and experiences some of his childhood concepts, he changes his mental constructs and comes to a new understanding of his place in humanity. Ultimately, he views love not as sexual in general, but rather as a universal recognition of one's kinship with humanity. To achieve this, he must overcome the karma of a past life in which he had difficulty identifying the male and female parts in himself. In his current life, he subconsciously tries to satisfy both parts until he realizes that his identity is not based on either of them. Rather, its basis is the interaction of positive and negative energies, which, when mixed, are the source of all creative thinking.

Venus retrograde in Cancer.
In a man, this can mean a strong “Oedipus complex” in which he never really understood his love for his mother. Its counterpart in women is called the “Electra complex.” In any case, the individual continues to prove that he wants to be his own master, but at the same time does not really know how to free himself from the need for protection that he needed in childhood.
He experiences the karma of addiction, and every step into the future brings him closer and closer to the womb that he never wanted to leave. He reconstructs his life with people who represent all of his early childhood conflicts. He doesn't know how to free himself from these conflicts. One of his biggest problems is that he bases his feelings and reactions to people on past memories. Unfortunately, he becomes trapped in more and more karma every time he does this.
In marriage, he projects early feelings for his parents onto his marriage partner. In some cases, he even chooses a partner who reminds him of his parent of the opposite sex. By basing his opinion of himself too much on what his elders think of him, he must learn to work on developing an appreciation of his own worth.
All his feelings are based on seeing the world through a “family-like” structure. This provides a protective shell from which he can sneak glances at everything he sees around him. Interestingly enough, he at the same time complains that this shell is holding him back from experiencing everything he would like to. However, his greatest strength comes later in life, when it becomes important to him to give his own children and grandchildren all the security and comfort on which his values were built.

Venus retrograde in Leo.
Having an unusually strong power complex, he mentally projects himself into everything he does. When he is inspired, he can transfer a lot of power to others, but he is not always sure of their sincerity and tends to silently evaluate them.
He sometimes tests other people to see if they are worthy of his company. As a result, he takes on more than he actually needs. But at the same time, this artificial burden increases his sense of self-respect. By playing the role of a martyr, he may convince himself that he is carrying a cross, giving love that is not appreciated.
His biggest problem is that he wants to command and lead, but the retrograde vibration does not always produce the effects in others that he tries too hard to achieve. During Phase I, he can actually intimidate other people with the strength of his directness and forward-looking attitude. Then, feeling the negative reaction he caused, he pulls himself away from the people he wanted to be close to rather than admit that he caused the overreaction. This position of Venus is less harmful to the individual than to those people who sincerely want to associate closely with him and find it difficult.
He brings karma with him into this life, which involves him in constant self-demonstration. And the more he puts himself on display, the less he is able to experience the richness of interacting with other people on an equal basis.

Venus retrograde in Virgo.
This is one of the most difficult positions for Venus retrograde, as the individual brings with him a very high ideal of love into this life. As a result, he never fully experiences this feeling with the people he is involved with, since none of them live up to his expectations. He subconsciously evaluates the shortcomings that he feels and sees in others. Because of this, he is not only reluctant to experience love, but when he does feel love, he continues to pick it apart until the feelings become just a collection of analytical theories.
Here he acts as an introvert out of fear that others will hurt him. In fact, this individual experiences karma. He is forced to understand human weakness, since the perfection of love, although it is the ideal to which we all strive, is not to be counted on as a reality in human conditions. It is in this third phase that the individual questions why none of his past relationships met his needs. And it is precisely this structure of thinking - “making love work” - that keeps the individual from figuring out what the experience of love really is. Due to the retrograde action of the planet, the individual has to evaluate the shortcomings of others, and since he directs the energy inward, he tends to transfer this karma to himself. As a result, he constantly finds flaws in himself and believes that in the eyes of others he should be better.
He must learn to see himself clearly and love himself, not from the point of view of all the ideals that have crystallized in his mind, but from the corresponding perspective of the reality of the world in which he lives.

Venus retrograde in Libra.
Ruling Venus feels more at home here than in any other position. As an individual moves from one retrograde phase to another with the help of the people he meets, he begins to feel more needed. His concept of love is very romantic and depends more on ideas or things that people imagine than on satisfying their own physical tastes and needs. Some people with this placement experiment with homosexuality as their need for love tries to rise above the conventions of social tradition. Subconscious stubbornness and self-will manifest themselves in almost everything that an individual does. He will give to those who did not ask, to serve if no one ordered, he will be obedient if no one demanded. He does not respond well to force, pressure, or demands from others.
His natural personality is to calmly seek out other people's needs and be helpful enough to satisfy them. On a very deep level, he is not at all sure of what he really wants for himself. He is in a constant state of change, trying to adjust himself to what seems to satisfy others. By being aware of the psychological games that society plays, he may in fact be one of the most skilled players. He will convince himself that some people cannot live without him, when in fact this is a projection of his own need to the contrary.
He can be happy satisfying himself with almost anyone who meets his subconscious needs, because he never really establishes a connection with others, but simply divides himself in half and then uses another individual as a mirror for that part of himself with which he wants to identify at this moment, makes friends, talks and even makes love - with himself!
His karma is rooted in balancing his value system through relationships, and only when he is confident in this will he calm down and truly support the idea he loves most.

Venus retrograde in Scorpio.
This is a very difficult position for Venus retrograde, as the Scorpio urge continues to push the individual past his own satisfaction. He never feels satisfied, but rather feels like everything he is looking for is just around the next corner or buried in the next well in his mind. Spending a lot of time in Phase I, he seeks future satisfaction, but unfortunately continues to think that he will find his ideal in another person, place or situation, and not in the deepest recesses of his own existence. He is very jealous and secretive in love, and at the same time intensely interested in the personal feelings of other people. Essentially, everything he sees in others makes it difficult for him to experience what he is looking for in himself.
He goes through long periods when he believes his frustration is sexual, but it goes much deeper than that. The fact is that in past incarnations he experienced an experience that made him dislike himself on a subconscious level. He feels alienated from the ideals he perceives in himself, and no matter how hard he tries, he is unable to convince himself of his own worth.
When this pattern continues, his behavior only increases his inner feelings of failure and distances him from everything he truly wants. In some cases, the root of the problem may be a love in a past life on which he relied and in which he was ultimately disappointed. If so, then usually this experience is repeated early in this life.
It is difficult for him to feel completely free with the opposite sex, and until he looks into himself, he can come up with many reasons for this. However, at the deepest levels, he does not allow himself to become vulnerable to others because he has experienced pain in the past.
For people with this placement of Venus, it is important to learn to forgive, but the individual must understand that forgiveness is not possible without forgetting.

Venus retrograde in Sagittarius.
This is a very lonely position for Venus retrograde. The individual values freedom more than the personal intimacy that Venus promises. He does not readily accept advice from others. This individual is the most experienced among representatives of other zodiac positions, but at the same time he feels that he is still missing something.
This is also a difficult position for a marriage. Often the reason for divorce is too restless nature. It is difficult to satisfy everything that an individual feels he needs, and the result often leads to
confusion of others. He views the world as a giant kaleidoscope with countless offerings to try, and he never likes to get too deeply involved in anything. The quantity of life experience becomes more important than the quality. As his higher mind wanders the far reaches of the universe, searching for a place where he can feel at home, the individual ignores the bird in the hand, looking for the pie in the sky.
His ideals from previous lives are high, and although he may not always live up to them, he continues to seek out people, places, and circumstances that make him feel closer to those past idealistic experiences. He usually feels his own worth, has a fairly strong ego and keeps it healthy despite being immersed in what life has to offer. Although this position is difficult for long-term intimate relationships, it gives the individual an unusually vivid scope of life experience. In past incarnations, he learned to develop a natural sense of the world around him, which he now relies on much more than the words of teachers.

Venus retrograde in Capricorn.
In this position, Venus usually indicates marriage with an older partner or with an individual symbolizing authority from the past. Sometimes the marriage partner recalls limitations imposed in childhood, and at other times it brings forward limitations placed on the individual in a past life.
The most comfortable period for the individual is phase III, in which the previous times are repeated. They represent security and confidence when the individual seeks to re-experience a protective relationship. This is a collector of antiques or something memorable from previous historical times, or even people, which symbolizes his need to bring something to its necessary completion.
His life is filled with all kinds of forms, since everything that he feels, he wants to crystallize within himself in order to satisfy the feeling of reliability. He may seem mature for his age in his youth, but at the same time he always internally protests against all restrictions on his freedom. He holds on to thoughts, ideas and feelings (including negative ones) for many years and tends to deny himself pleasure or happiness during the first half of life, hoping for some greater prospect at another time. However, as he gets older, he begins to realize how much he tried to recreate his past and how much it bound him. Then he changes radically and becomes more practical in terms of his own needs.
All this time he feels out of tune with people his age. In essence, he lives his life in reverse, experiencing the burdens of old age at a young age and the freedom of youth at an old age.
This position of Venus is one of the horoscope indicators of family karma. The discrepancy comes from the past incarnation and is repeated during the younger years in this life - the individual spends most of his time running away from himself, and then about halfway through life, when he realizes this, he tries to compensate for everything he has missed.

Venus retrograde in Aquarius.
This is where the individual feels most comfortable during Phase I of the retrograde process. He can explore the needs that he senses glimpses of before they become real in his life. At times he can become commanding and overbearing in his desire to help others, sometimes unintentionally getting in their way. He is very independent and does not easily accept restrictions. His attachments are distributed among so many things, people and circumstances that those close to him cannot focus their energy. Much of this scattering, however, is simply a reflection of his highly volatile nature. He tends to be overly sensitive to his surroundings and must change his approach to life in order to feel balanced.
He can be a rebel, loves his freedom, does not tolerate people imposing their will on him. At the same time, he feels that he knows what is best for others. Thus, there appears to be a lack of perspective in his personal relationships.
He has an insatiable interest in almost everything and tends to come into contact with some very strange people. Everything conventional and traditional is too boring for him to focus any lasting attention on it, but he needs a feeling of reliability and confidence. He is actually not very confident in himself and would not want others to know about it.
For many, this position brings great interest in astrology and esoteric subjects. If you remove all the artificial layers of an individual's life, he is a very lonely person. His selfless need to help other people is really the mask of his attempts to earn his way back into humanity, which in another incarnation for some reason rejected him. Thus, he never expects complete intimacy for any large period of time, but he is simply pleased to know that his beliefs and ideas are now accepted. And he will try his best just to earn that acceptance.

Venus retrograde in Pisces.
He is very lonely and silently feels that he is separated from the tangible reality to which he strives. In past incarnations he was very romantic and now continues to pull himself back into past fantasies. This person is unconventional, considers himself independent as long as he has someone to rely on. Much of what he experiences is a re-enactment of fairy tales with which he, being extremely impressionable, was identified as a child. But in fact, he begins to see this no earlier than mid-life.
It is difficult to establish contact with this person, since his illusions prevent him from seeing himself. Every time his mirror is about to shatter, he creates new fantasies to free himself as much as possible from the restrictions he feels in his current reality. He does not feel comfortable in this incarnation, but does not want to realize that he himself chose the circumstances that surround him. It is easier for him to believe that life carried him along, at times even against his will. He is afraid of being at the mercy of people or circumstances that may at some point in the future make demands on him. Subconsciously he feels that he may not be able to meet these demands. So this is another reason to avoid your true inner feelings.
This position of retrograde Venus tends towards masochism. Many situations are created in which the cosmic “I” is punished and at the same time the lower personal “I” is saddened.
The more a person allows past illusions to enter into his present feelings, the more he separates himself from whatever present feelings he says he wants to experience. In relationships with other people, he tends to go into the dull fog of Pisces, which he surrounds himself with as a buffer against the present.
This is one of the most difficult positions for personal love. Essentially, a person must work his way through the karma of raising his expectations from the personal plane of the lower self and at that point begin to experience the Divine attunement on which he can base his reality.
Many individuals with this placement have experienced the loss of personal love in a past incarnation. Now in this life, they subconsciously continue to look for aspects of this love in every person they meet, until one day they realize that their Soul has decided to transform itself, regardless of selfish needs.

Venus retrograde in the first house.
This individual needs a lot of attention, but never feels completely satisfied. He is preoccupied with how he appears to others and is very self-centered, since feelings of self-love rise much higher on the conscious than on the subconscious level. While constantly seeking more attention, this individual experiences conflicting feelings about himself. Although he thinks of himself as a creature of love, he does not seem to understand how much love should be given to others. He gives too much or not enough. In general, the “amount of love” that he experiences when giving or receiving does not correspond to the situation.
He wants to be allowed to live his own life, but he clings too much to others for fear of being alone. This conflict can cause numerous problems in relationships as well as in marriage.
In his love experiences he goes through a three-phase retrograde process which continues to emphasize the positive or negative nature more according to the pattern of the phase he is in than to whether his reactions to the circumstances of his relationships with other people are justified. He will not necessarily be a giver in love, but can absorb a lot of love from others. He needs this for self-confidence.
The key to happiness in this position is based on realistic self-acceptance.

Venus retrograde in the second house.
He is an extraordinary owner in relation to all past value systems. He loves to absorb the universe around him, as this again gives him the confidence and reliability that he is so used to feeling. He can be extremely materialistic, while trying to re-establish and strengthen all past feelings of self-worth. Having a strong tendency to repeat everything he loves, he becomes the creature of many habits. His need for reassurance on both a physical and material level is very great, so it is difficult for him to be too generous without feeling like he is losing something in the process.
In this situation, the individual tries to contain within himself everything that he values in the universe. In many cases, this increases the normal ownership of a second home.
For all its reliability needs, it is not very competitive, since this position is characterized by a certain amount of laziness. The individual will experience difficulties with the opposite sex as a result of his possessive feelings or out of fear of becoming the property of another. He takes care of his affections, although internally he exaggerates his feelings. He likes to do things his own way. He may become angry if he feels that others are interfering with his ways of doing things.
Many people with this placement become great craftsmen, but will always create something from the past. If an individual decides to make a living by creating elegant chariots in the twenty-first century, he will be a person with Venus retrograde in the second house.
Here the individual experiences the karma of attachment to the love and comfort of a past life. This applies to people, objects and circumstances. In the present life his confidence and security are based on the continuity of form and matter.

Venus retrograde in the third house.
This is a very difficult position for Venus, as the unpredictability of Gemini constantly throws the individual from one retrograde phase to another. The person seems to be out of sync in most of his relationships. His love is too much or too little compared to what he received from another individual. His love may go against the time dimension: he may experience great love for an individual when he is just preparing to be with him, a rather low vibration during actual personal contact. He reaches the highest degree of love when he has already parted with this person - looking back and restoring him in memory.
Thus, the individual experiences great problems in his love life and in relationships with other people, trying to live “here and now.” Forces outside of him are constantly acting on this retrograde Venus, creating conditions for which he is not yet ready or feels that they have already passed. Finding himself in such conditions in life, he tries to reconcile his feelings and mental activity. As a result, he spends a lot of time analyzing everything he feels. This is a bad position for marriage, as the mutable qualities of the third house continue to push the individual out of agreement with his own feelings. A person does not always mean what he says. He is more interested in the feelings he creates in the listener. He is essentially insecure, especially around people his own age. Very often, in order to feel accepted, he will say or do things that he knows are not his own, but that will give him the social acceptance and approval that he craves.
His karma is connected with the feelings of people, as he tries to find ways to satisfy others as well as himself. This position of Venus is characterized by a large share of karmic loneliness. This individual may feel alone in a crowd.

Venus retrograde in the fourth house.
Venus is well placed in the fourth house, enjoying a fair amount of comfort during all three retrograde phases. Although the last two phases may cause the individual to be somewhat introverted, this does not cause him too much discomfort. It's good to have someone of the opposite sex nearby to lean against - his concept of love always includes a certain degree of parental protection, which, although he may resent it externally, he really needs internally.
He is spontaneous, like a child, and constantly recaptures the kind of love he experienced in his early years. This individual never completely outgrows his love and affection for the parent of the opposite sex. So he keeps trying to get back into the fold. He sometimes experiences fear of people, and as a result, he finds it more difficult to express his tendencies to the outside world than to close people whom he has known for a long period of time. It is difficult for him to understand strangers, since from the point of view of love he views his world as one giant family - his own! Often he feels obligated to treat other people in the outside world as if they were truly his own family. This is done subconsciously, but it places a burden on him to limit the number of people and external situations in which he can feel comfortable.
He makes his way through karma. According to it, he continues to repeat the experience of the beginning of love until he has enough confidence to believe that thanks to this he has the protection and security that he needed to be able to express it to the outside world.

Venus retrograde in the fifth house.
Here the individual is most comfortable during phase I of the retrograde process. He usually has a very strong ego, which expresses itself through the creative process. As a result, he can sometimes overwhelm people with the enormous inner confidence he seems to possess. But this is actually not the case, since the combination of planet and house gives acting ability, which a person shows in the presence of other people to hide his shyness. He tends to project his feelings onto other people because he cannot bear rejection. However, he may reject other people when he feels that they are going to reject him. He rationalizes his decision by saying that they do not meet his standards.
In some cases he is internally proud of himself, and others must strengthen this pride before he allows them into his circle. He will struggle to maintain his self-esteem and may often deny himself full enjoyment of life in an attempt to be worthy of the image he has created for himself.
He feels best when he can help others whom he views as less capable than himself. Thus, some people with this planetary placement may take great pleasure in teaching self-expression to children with developmental delays or other individuals suffering from physical disabilities.
One of the biggest difficulties with this placement of Venus is that the individual is constantly disappointed because his expectations are too unrealistic. He is unable to find the perfect person who can satisfy everything he thinks he needs. Thus, the main direction of his work is to fulfill the karmic lesson of satisfaction. He can grow significantly internally by realizing that his life is less dependent on other people than he believes. The dissatisfaction he feels in others is always the dissatisfaction he has created in himself. When he learns to expect less from life, he will realize the joy he seeks.

Venus retrograde in the sixth house.
This is a very precarious position for sensitive Venus, since the individual always feels a sense of duty that constrains him. A person often experiences disappointment in relationships, especially in work-related areas. Although all retrograde phases are difficult, the individual feels more secure in the third phase, when he withdraws into himself, restrains his feelings and tries to explain everything that he is and what he thinks he should be to others. This saddens him internally and prevents him from functioning at his best. He should beware of extremes in his feelings, since subconsciously he believes that the world is a place of decay and disorder.
He withdraws from other people because he doesn't quite understand how to deal with the imperfections he sees in them. One of his biggest problems is that he can allow his feelings to become computerized. He does this by pre-programming his relationships in order to calculate in advance how they will work. His approach to people is mechanical. He views every thought and action of another person as part of many moves in his planned chess game of life.
He may do favors for others, but will only be satisfied if he knows that the debts will be repaid. Unfortunately, he tends to judge other people by what they do, measuring their actions and actions against his ideals. Thus, he lives by a double standard, not fully realizing that the ideals of all the people he knows may be as high as his own, and that their failure to live up to those ideals in his presence is a reflection of his own human weaknesses.
He uses most of his energy by purifying and suppressing many of his needs. From this limited vantage point he deals with the karma of trying to create perfection in his environment. He must learn that the world is already perfect and that he cannot improve it. Somewhere between his perfect idealism and the unacknowledged needs of other people lies the balance that will bring him happiness.

Venus retrograde in the seventh house.
This is one of the more unique positions for Venus retrograde. As the ruler of the seventh house, it can be very beneficial if the individual uses it to see the true reflection of himself in the eyes of those he loves. However, if he struggles with the fact that many of his ideas, thoughts and feelings seem to be rejected, and does not understand the reasons for this, then he may actually cause instability in the entire horoscope.
His moods and feelings are controlled by the world around him; there is no boundary between the feelings that come from him and the feelings that he absorbs from others.
As he slides from one retrograde phase to another, he takes on various identities, each directed towards himself, but none truly at his center. He is well aware that he can actually be “turned inside out,” losing his spontaneity, striving for others to think better about him. Essentially he is a supporter of extreme views. Within one day, he can completely “switch gears” to deliberately wanting to displease others. His feelings are like a pendulum, swinging from side to side with the wind of other people's feelings, always passing the center, but rarely stopping there. He is never quite sure of how he appears to other people.
Extremely sensitive to his external environment, he first mixes with it, gets lost in it, and then runs away from it to recover. However, he does not like to do things alone and feels frustrated because he wants to know himself, but does not want to be completely separated from others. He experiences karma by recognizing unbalanced parts of himself through how others see him.

Venus retrograde in the eighth house.
He feels a great inner intensity that is not easily released. Emotions of love are often associated with past anger and resentment directed at some individual or experience that brought back painful memories.
He is extremely sensitive and does not like to be looked at by others. His ideals are very high, but if an individual is unable to realize his dream in real life, his actions may run in the opposite direction.
In sex, it fluctuates from periods of intense need to periods of complete lack of interest. His sexual stimulus is associated with a strong desire for possession. At times, he may secretly be jealous of others who seem to have more than him.
He hides from his own feelings, not wanting to face the wall that he puts between his outer and inner life. With this position of Venus, a person is very impatient and irritable, as he experiences the depth of his own needs and at the same time feels the influence of the needs of other people. This brings conflict between the manner in which he relates to society and how he truly feels. Often with this position of Venus, there is great resentment and resentment in a person’s life, as he feels deceived or deprived of much that he believes rightfully belongs to him.
He struggles with many things and is jealous that other people can achieve the same goals with less effort.
With this position of Venus, a person experiences a feeling of isolation from the world. He still has a past lost love in his soul. As a result, the individual finds it difficult to fully trust the people he meets in his current life because he subconsciously sees in each of them a symbolic part of the love that he was deprived of in the past.

Venus retrograde in the ninth house.
Here the individual experiences a great need for personal freedom. He does not allow others to hinder him or crowd his space. For some people this position manifests itself in a great love for spiritual life.
Isolated from the intense subjective qualities of social relations, he seeks peace within himself through his ability to remain out of the thick of things. This may manifest itself as a desire to retire to a monastery, climb mountains, or walk barefoot through the forest.
Here the need for a sense of the enormity of life is great, and the individual often sacrifices intimacy with other people to satisfy this need. He is very independent and does not like to be stuck into the mold of other people's desires. At the same time, this is a very difficult position for marriage or any other long-term relationship, since in the ninth house the personal qualities of Venus are transferred to a “more cosmic” reality. Thus, an individual's sense of self-identity is of a different quality than that of most other people he encounters. Because he sees the ebb and flow of the general flow of life, he does not like to create permanent connections.
He does many things without outside help. Numerous meetings await him with various people, most of whom, apparently, represent a philosophy completely alien to the ideas on which he was brought up.
He seems to be difficult to understand, since the motives behind his ideas are unusual and different from those that motivate his contemporaries.
This person may actually achieve a rare degree of calm in the midst of a world of chaos. At the same time, he cannot easily convey this to other people. In some cases, as a result of a past incarnation, he may be endowed with artistic talent.
Whatever the lifestyle, he will experience a conflict between the feeling that he should be involved in the needs of society and the knowledge that there are many reasons not to do so.
Karmically, he marches to the beat of another drummer. He brings with him into this life from the past a very strong desire to do what he likes, when he wants. He is easy to get along with, but impossible to possess, as his deeply ingrained instinct is to be a free spirit.

Venus retrograde in the tenth house.
He loves to look back on the fulfillment of his aspirations and needs in life, to know that he is accepted by those whom he previously looked up to. He likes social approval, but he doesn't like to seek it. Thus, he finds it difficult to express himself creatively outwardly, as he expects that others may reject him. He may become overly conscientious of others and, as a result, very sensitive in social situations.
Capable of internally absorbing the feelings of others, he often feels responsible for meeting the needs of those around him. This makes him feel less comfortable in social situations. He appears to be shy and sometimes backs away from where he wants to go most.
He feels responsibility from the past and is not sure that he is capable of being worthy of it. In a man's horoscope this may cause difficulties with women as a result of being dominated by an adult woman early in his life.
Usually this position of Venus gives great creativity, already developed in past incarnations, but the individual must now develop self-confidence if he is to express them.
Karmically, he goes through life trying to gather feelings that will give him the sense of purpose that he needs. Once he can do this, he will be able to express the meaning in his life that he has been searching for.

Venus retrograde in the eleventh house.
This is one of the most difficult positions for Venus retrograde, as it distracts from the creative process. A person is drawn to satisfaction in many different directions at the same time. Sometimes the sense of reality is so unique that the individual is almost completely disconnected from his identity on the earthly level. He wants to try everything, but doesn't know why. At times he becomes so possessed by his thoughts that the dishonest greed he sees in others on the material level is a reflection of what he himself does mentally. He must learn to understand his thoughts, because although each new whim and fantasy that attracts him is beautiful in itself, their mixture can be so inharmonious that a person will feel uncomfortable.
His personal rejection ultimately causes him to become more distant. While he explores the many realms and possibilities of thought in the universe, he does not always know how to combine them together in his personal life. However, he can help other people more than he can help himself.
One of his greatest difficulties is that his secret desire to experience his own experiences keeps him aloof from the rest of humanity that he loves so dearly. Some people with this placement of Venus go through strange sexual experiences, as the need for exploration always pulls them beyond the norms of society.
In past incarnations he experienced many different things that attracted him. Now he began to constantly look for something that he had not yet experienced. His dreams may be unrealistic, but his character is such that the restrictions of traditional society cannot contain him. His future is entirely based on how much he holds on to his past fantasies.

Venus retrograde in the twelfth house.
Often a person is attached to a love from a past life that was not broken, and while living every day in his future, he continues to try to restore his past. He may be happy when he is alone, but he does not like feeling abandoned by others. At the slightest hint of rejection, he feels self-pity for a long time, since he almost instinctively knows that he entered this incarnation, leaving true love behind. Essentially, he tries to satisfy himself by finding symbolic aspects of this love in all the people he meets, but for all his emotional energy, he still clings to the romantic concepts of a bygone time. Thus, it is difficult for him to be completely satisfied with the experience of his current life, since he views everything he perceives through the colored glasses of preconceived concepts.
He goes through life with silent pain and does not like others to make demands of him. Usually, with this position of Venus, a person has many hidden emotions. Other people rarely see this, but the person is almost constantly aware of this part of himself that continues to refuse to enter the current life.
He can be a creator if he is not forced. He spends a lot of time alone with himself, actually gaining strength by subconsciously going through the memories of past moments when he was truly at peace with himself.
He is a seeker not so much of external popularity as of internal satisfaction. With this position of Venus, a secret love affair is sometimes possible, with the help of which the individual tries to maintain in the present the illusion of what was reality in his past. Emotionally tied to time, he allows many of life's opportunities to pass him by. He will achieve happiness when he realizes that he is not really losing the past by living in the present.
