Layout of the house, plans of houses and cottages. The correct entrance to the house according to feng shui on the cardinal points Private house from the side

Mahadwara (or in other words, the front door) has a truly profound role. It has a connection with various movements - the penetration of flows of positive or negative energy, positive guests who are expected for a long time or, conversely, enemies and enemies.

This is a passage through which destructive forces from one side and positive forces from the other penetrate into the dwelling. Exactly because of this reason Entrance door should perform a protective function, as well as act as a decorative element, attracting the energy of happiness, longevity and financial well-being to housing. The entrance to the house on the cardinal points according to Feng Shui is the topic of this material.

Feng Shui entrance to the house according to the directions of the world

According to the ancient treatises of Vastu Shastra, the entrance facing the east or north direction of the world is considered ideal, while the entrance to the dwelling from the south direction is very unsuitable.

  • When the front door is located from the east direction, this is very good, because it is in this direction that solar energy has the strongest activity and has the most positive effect on human life. Also, the entrance from the east will provide good health, vigor, a clear mind and success for all the people who live in the home. And also - it will help to achieve fame, strength and realize all your even the wildest dreams.
  • In the case when the facade of your monastery is located on the north side, then the main door should be placed on the northern or eastern part of the housing. The door that faces north is a guarantee of fertility and good luck in all areas of life.
  • The entrance from the south direction is very unfavorable, since the deity of death Yama is responsible for this zone in feng shui. Therefore, such an entry option would be contrary to the natural laws in human life, which will have a very negative impact on the health of the inhabitants of the house. The Vastu teaching advises against making entrances to your houses or work buildings from the south direction. We can cite various real cases as an example, when people blocked the entrances from the south direction and after that their life began to change dramatically in a positive direction.

In situations where there is no way to avoid the main entrance from the south (for example, the facade is located on the south side), the door should be placed strictly in the central part of the south side of the site. At the same time, you need to try to leave a sufficient amount of free space from the northern and eastern directions.

  • A door from the west direction is allowed only as an exception and only when, for some reason, you cannot install it in a positive east or north direction.
  • The most unfavorable direction for entering housing is the southwest direction. This is due to the fact that the negative impact of the planet Rahu comes from the southwestern side.
  • It is important to place balconies, verandas and terraces exclusively on the north or east side, even when the entrance to the dwelling is on the other side. When a balcony or veranda is located in your home on the southwest side, it is important to always close them. If the entrance to the housing is located on the south side, make sure that there are no balconies or verandas above the door.

What should be the front door: important rules

If you are not able to adhere to all these rules - do not rush to get upset. You can always use a special protective yantra (diagram), which is attached to the door from any direction and guarantees protection from all evil.

How to decorate the front door

In Feng Shui, the process of decorating the main door is given great attention.

So, doors with smooth surfaces are designed to attract bad luck, while leaves, flowers, birds painted on the area of \u200b\u200bthe door or on the door jamb will have a very positive effect on housing. Using various sacred signs and symbols, you will protect your home from any evil spirits, plus you will turn your life in a positive direction.

  • It is allowed to decorate the door with the help of Kuladevata depicted on it - this is a household deity, Lakshmi - is the goddess of prosperity, sacred cows with a calf with flower garlands, the Om sign or a swastika. Also, from the popular protective symbols, one can name the deity Ganesha, who has the head of an elephant. It is important to place his image on the same level with the eyes of people coming into the room.
  • A floral ornament will act as a suitable decorative element. Lotus flowers, leaves and pairs of birds are especially popular.
  • At the same time, it is worth abandoning the depicted predatory or wild animals, snakes, owls. Elephants, eagles and pigs are also banned.

We draw your attention to the fact that it is not at all necessary that your door turns into a museum exhibit - it will be enough to use a few interesting details.

In addition, it is worth paying attention to the color scheme of the doors. It is important that it harmonizes with the direction of the light. For example, the “northern” door should be painted in one of the blue tones, and the “eastern” door should be yellow. If the outside of the door is painted black, the owner of the home will suffer from various difficulties in life.

To further protect your home, you should plant a sacred basil at the entrance - Tulasi. True, it does not grow in open ground, but is simply taken out of the house into the yard in the summer. In addition to the present, you can use painted basil - its effect will not get worse from this.

In esotericism, basil leaves with twigs represent a completely spiritual energy, therefore they tend to realize the desires of the inhabitants of the house, and also reflect the flows of negative energy, save from various otherworldly entities (vampires, ghosts, and so on), plus protect from troubles and misfortunes. The wind that passes through the basil leaves has a pronounced cleansing effect.

At the corner of Pyatnitskaya Street and Ovchinnikovskaya Embankment there is a mansion, as if frozen in time. This house was built in the middle of the 19th century by the merchant Morkovkin. Almost nothing is known about him, except that he came from the count's peasants.

The main history of the house is connected with the wine and vodka king of the Russian Empire. The inscription “Supplier of the court of HIS IMPERIAL MAJESTY Pyotr Arsenievich Smirnov” still flaunts on the side of the house.

Pyotr Arsenyevich Smirnov arrived in Moscow in 1860, when he received his freedom, and immediately opened a small wine shop for nine employees. His dream was to establish the production of high-quality vodka instead of what they drank in taverns and taverns at that time. In 1863, he built a small vodka factory near the Cast Iron Bridge on Ovchinnikovskaya Embankment, which immediately began to produce goods. good quality and quickly became widespread.

Pyotr Arsenyevich Smirnov bought this three-story house from the merchant Morkovkin in 1867. Smirnov got a solid house with a large yard, several outbuildings and a deep cellar where barrels of wine could be kept. The mansion on Pyatnitskaya was purchased specifically so that Pyotr Arsenyevich himself could control the quality of the production of drinks, as he valued his reputation very much. Nine years later, he rebuilds the building according to the design of the architect N. A. Heinz. The entrance was decorated with a cast-iron canopy with double-headed eagles, exactly the same as on the labels of Smirnovskaya vodka. In the Soviet years, this shed was demolished, and the entrance was blocked. And only in the late 1990s it was restored again.

In 1873, the hereditary honorary citizen Pyotr Smirnov decides to take part in the international industrial exhibition in Vienna, where he has an incredible success and receives a diploma and a medal of the exhibition participant. From that moment, the real recognition of the business of the merchant Smirnov began. Some time later, Tsar Alexander III personally wished that the merchant Smirnov became the Supplier of the Supreme Court. In 1886, Smirnov was awarded the Order of Stanislav III degree and marked this event on his house: on the facade from the side of Pyatnitskaya one can see the inscription “Supplier of twin engines. His Imperial Majesty Pyotr Arsenyevich Smirnov.

The range of goods and their quality amazed even the most serious foreign connoisseurs of alcohol: Cherry Vodka, Nezhinskaya Rowan, Finn-Champagne, not to mention everyone's favorite table wine No. 21. Empress Maria Feodorovna was very fond of White Plum liqueur , which was produced exclusively by Peter Smirnov. At the end of the 19th century, the assortment of the Smirnovsky plant consisted of more than four hundred items of products.

After the revolution in 1918, the plant and the house near the Chugunny Bridge became a “public property” and stopped their work. The son of Peter Smirnov sold the rights to the firm "P. A. Smirnov" to an American citizen, who began to produce Smirnoff vodka, however, using a completely different technology.

The house at the Cast Iron Bridge at the corner of Pyatnitskaya Street and Ovchinnikovskaya Embankment is still a real symbol of P. A. Smirnov’s vodka. Now the mansion houses a trading house and a shop selling drinks according to the recipes of the ancestor of a glorious merchant family.

For those who are looking for projects of one-story residential buildings, this article can be very useful. I have collected here 24 projects with layout and dimensions, according to which you can already make a working draft and make an estimate. Here are houses of different sizes - from very small to spacious, designed for a large family.

Project No. 1

The first project is a house of 6 x 10 meters in plan - its overall dimensions are very modest. This is a small house with two bedrooms, in such a house a family of three can comfortably settle down. At the entrance the house has a small terrace under the roof.

The house has a separate kitchen with its own bathroom and a large living-dining room measuring 21 square meters. The kitchen in this house measures 3 x 4.5 meters.

Project No. 2

The next house is larger than the previous one - with its length of 10 meters, it also has an overall width of 10 meters, although in terms of it it is not rectangular, but of more complex outlines.

The house has three bedrooms, it has two bathrooms, one of which is equipped with a bath. In the center of the house there is a living room of 25 square meters, from which there is an exit to the terrace. The kitchen has dimensions of 3 x 4 meters. The downside of this project is that the living room is a walk-through and from it is the entrance to the bedrooms. It can be improved by moving the wall between the kitchen and the living room, creating a single space of the kitchen-dining-living room and highlighting the corridor from which there will be doors to the bedrooms.

Project No. 3

This is a project of a house 9 x 11 meters, spacious enough, but not huge. Moreover, a car parking with a canopy adjoins the wall of the house. If desired, the parking lot can be turned into a garage by laying the walls. The house has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The total area of 70 meters without balcony, terrace and garage.

The disadvantage of this project is the same as the previous one. The plan can be ennobled by attaching a walk-through living room to one of the bedrooms. Thus, by sacrificing the latter, we get a large living room measuring 3.5 x 6 meters.

Project No. 4

This house is quite spacious, its dimensions in terms of 8.5 by 12 meters. The house has three bedrooms, and one of them is very large - 4 x 4.5 meters in size. The other two bedrooms are smaller, 9 square meters each.

The house has two entrances - from the street and from the courtyard. Each entrance has a covered porch. The layout of the house needs clarification, the living room can be combined with the kitchen, and the guest bathroom can be moved closer to the main entrance. Also, on such a large area, technical rooms can be fenced off: laundry, ironing, etc.

Project No. 5

This is a large house for a large family. Dimensions in terms of 12 x 12.5 meters. On such a huge area, you can place three bedrooms, a kitchen-dining room, a living room, an office and a number of technical rooms.

The designers who created this project were, in my opinion, unreasonable with the distribution of space. I would remove the right bathroom and make a large kitchen-living room measuring 6.5 by 7 meters, I would correctly zone it, and allocate the rest of the premises for bedrooms and children's rooms. There would also be room for an office.

Project No. 6

One-story house measuring 15.5 by 10 meters. This is a very large house. The house is designed with a carport for two cars, which can be turned into a full-fledged built-in garage.

Such a large area can accommodate a large family in need of three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Project No. 7

Nice house project 10 x 9 meters. The house compactly accommodates three bedrooms, a large living room measuring 6 x 3.5 meters and a separate kitchen with an area of 9 meters.

The living room has a beautiful bay window, which creates an interesting plasticity of the facade.

Project No. 8

The project of a one-story house 6 x 6 meters in overall dimensions. The house has two bedrooms and one large kitchen and living area.

At the entrance there is a small terrace with a canopy. The bathroom has an entrance from the kitchen area.

The house has access to the courtyard. The bedrooms are quite modest in size 3 x 3 meters. Sliding wardrobes and the presence of two windows in each of them save the situation.

Project No. 9

Nice project of a house with a high roof. Dimensions 8 x 9 meters, the walls in plan have a complex geometry. This is a chalet-style house that will look very picturesque.

The layout needs some work in my opinion.

Project No. 10

The project of a one-story house 9 x 8 meters with two bedrooms. The house has a large covered terrace.

One bedroom is large 5 x 3.5 meters, the second is smaller - 4 x 3 meters. The kitchen is enclosed in a separate room, the living-dining room is walkable. The layout can be adjusted to suit your needs.

Project No. 11

One-story house 9 x 9 meters with a measured plan. Inside the house there is a winter garden, two bedrooms and a kitchen-living room.

A good option for a country house for a family of three. Instead of a winter garden, you can arrange an office or a small guest room.

Project No. 12

The project of the house in a modern style with a flat roof. The dimensions of the house in terms of 8 x 8 meters. Carport installed. The house has one large bedroom of 16 square meters and a single kitchen-living room space.

Instead of a carport, it would be more correct to arrange another bedroom, in my opinion.

Project No. 13

Large house 9 x 13 meters. It has a complex shape in plan. Three bedrooms, kitchen, living room and dining room.

Immediately provided a place for a car, under a canopy roof.

Project No. 14

Large house with dimensions of 9 x 14 meters. The facade is very interesting, the house is one-story.

Beautiful stained glass at the entrance. First we get into the living-dining room, then into the corridor from which the entrance to the kitchen and three bedrooms is located.

Along the house there is a narrow terrace, which will be nice to use for relaxation.

Project No. 15

The project of a one-story house measuring 11 x 11 meters in plan.

It is possible to organize four bedrooms in the house, although three of them were made in the presented project. One bedroom is very large - almost 20 square meters. It can be divided into two bedrooms of 10 m2.

Project No. 16

The dimensions of the house are 6 x 9 meters. The house has three bedrooms and a small living room.

The kitchen, as it were, is separately attached to the house along with a terrace at the exit to the courtyard.

Project No. 17

An interesting project of a narrow house for a long section.

The house has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of which has a bath.

I had a chance to go here recently to look at the house, which was sold by ad. I post photos. The dimensions of the house are approximately 7.5 x 8.5 meters. The house is made of foam blocks, lined with brick-like clinker panels. True, with the layout, it seems to me that one could also play around. For example, turn the living room and kitchen house into the courtyard, on the sunny side, and make the entrance from the side, just to the parking lot, and the bathroom would have shifted just to the north side. The house is more suitable for country use::
Photo 1 - general form at home - a dream - paths, a smooth green lawn around. On the right is the entrance / entrance to the site, on the left - the neighbor's house, a plot of 6 acres.
Photo 2- facade - entrance to the house - porch, to the left of the house - a septic tank.
Photo 3- finishing of the house - finishing of the plinth - filing of the cornice could be done with perforation (ventilated). On the roof in this place, snow retainers would not interfere. By the way, three lanterns of evening lighting are visible to walk from the parking lot/entrance to the house. There is also a fourth lantern above the porch, which is turned on separately from these three Windows in the photo: on the right - the window from the living room, on the left - the window of the bedroom / room on the first floor.
Photo 4- entrance to the house - without vestibule. By the way, in the photo everything looks much smaller than in reality. The hallway turned out to be larger, it can be safely fenced off with a vestibule (if necessary), and there will still be room for a closet on the right:: On the left - the door to the bathroom. Directly - the entrance to the living room / kitchen.
Photo 5- the width of the living room is about 4 meters, according to the project (according to the owner) a column was planned in the middle, but due to the beam 250x250 on the ceiling, the column was avoided. Again, the photo shows that if, for example, a staircase would initially be planned with an entrance from kitchen, for example, it would be possible to free up more space in the living room for a party corner.
Photo 6- the stairs would be moved to the kitchen side and the entrance to the bedroom / room would be moved to the hallway and the party corner in the living room would turn out to be quite large, however, then the entrance to the house would turn out from under the stairs - somehow not for the hair dryer Shuyam (not in a human way, not in Russian, a bad omen - passing under the stairs ...)
Photo 7- continuation of the inspection - the beginning of the kitchen area.
Photo 8- kitchen area - communications are visible on the left, as well as electricity (including under the electric stove). A hood is visible in the ceiling on the left. When I asked the owner - where is the exit from the hood to the street? - he answered - the hood from the kitchen - connects to the hood from the bathroom and goes into the ridge ventilation right under the roof ridge.
I'll add more pictures now.

Super! Looks very nice, I'm planning something similar! Yes, and I like the subsequent layouts, but they don’t fit into my site.

Looking for thoughtful house plans with photos and dimensions? Our free online catalog contains a large number of good layouts of private houses and cottages with excellent photos and 3D visualizations. On each plan, the names of the rooms and their areas are indicated, the location of the furniture is plotted, but of course you can rearrange it at your discretion. When choosing a project, pay attention to the number of storeys (one or two floors), the presence of an attic, terrace or balcony. The number of bedrooms in the plan of the house is also important. For a private house for permanent residence, at least three bedrooms are required. Well, if one of the bedrooms is located on the first floor, usually this room is allocated for elderly family members (grandparents). If there is a garage in the layout of the house, then it is better that the entrance to the house be through a separate vestibule, then unpleasant odors and dirt will be more difficult to get inside the cottage, keep this in mind!
